St. Charles Parish

Located in the southeastern region of Louisiana, St. Charles Parish was founded in 1807 and is named after Saint Charles, the patron saint of Italy. The parish has a population of over 52,000 residents and its parish seat is located in Hahnville. The parish was formed from the “Côte des Allemands,” also known as the “German Coast,” which was an area ripe with German settlers in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Many famous professional athletes are from St. Charles Parish, including recent Super Bowl winner Ed Reed and former LSU women’s basketball coach Dana “Pokey” Chatman.

Car accidents are a common occurrence in today’s time and it is important to protect every right you have if you ever find yourself in one. In Louisiana in 2013 alone, over 68,000 people were injured as a direct result of motor vehicle accidents and an additional 668 more people were killed. A competent personal injury attorney can guide you through the accident process, help determine fault, and can take your claim to court where he will see that you receive the just compensation you deserve.
